Code Ninja Android Engineer

Niobium Labs, Ltd. is looking for a talented and creative Android engineer. Candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills and willingness to work in a startup type environment. This position will work on developing/porting our loyalty client apps for various verticals. Applicant must be able to multi-task as we have multiple projects under development; must be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Job Description:

- The candidate will be head of our mobile product development department

- Leading the design and development of bleeding edge Android application
- Building mobile applications for Android mobile devices and tablets
- Working with a team
- Close interacting with campaign management and sales team

Technical Requirements:

- Applicants must have at least 1-year experience with Android

- 3-5 years experience in software development using javaSE or java EE, as well as excellent debugging ability
- Must have deployed Android apps in the market that are available for viewing & evaluation
Experience with Mobile App development (iOS, Android, Blackberry or Windows Mobile)
- Strong OO Java design skills desired. Must be able to work with an existing body of code (maintenance, feature additions, debugging, etc)
- Experience with mapping, geolocation, c2dm, memory management and media is considered a plus
- We also appreciate familiarity with photoshop and pixel perfect design theming to Android
