Over 5,000 iPads sold on eBay, UK loves them most

Here’s interesting, eBay has sold 5,000 or more iPads, with buyers from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) paying the highest prices.

eBay has sold over 5,300 units worldwide, 65 percent abroad and 35 percent at home, according to data from eBay that spans from mid-March to mid-April.

You guys in the UK grabbed the lion’s share of international sales - 550 units (15 percent of foreign sales). UAE purchasers spent up to $537  for the 64GB version.

Greece paid $269 over retail for the 16GB version, Russians paid $306 for the 32GB model. And 35 percent of eBay purchases came from the US, where the product is already on sale (weird).
