Niobium Labs delivers image similarity search on the mobile in collaboration with WeKnowIt!

Niobium Labs recently joined forces with CERTH to create one of the worlds first image search system based on Yahoo Labs technology, Flickr's image pool for image clustering and CERTH's advance pattern classification technology.

We are glad that we can provide integrated mobile and web application with the following features

1. Image search technology (see Google goggles)
2. Target group clustering based on images they upload and going beyond plain demographics to distinguish hobbies and leisure activities. Facebook apps and crawlers.
3. Image similarity based on sub clustering of the prototype image. For instance you can see the same image landscape you upload, during sunset or during some festivals, crowded or without anyone around.

WeKnowIt is an EU FP7 funded IP project, with over 10M euro in budget. it;s primary purpose it to create state of the art classification algorithms in order to track events both in time and space using images from social activity as input.
